From 17th December to 21st December 2018, the learning/ teaching/ training activity was held in Turkey, Adana at Kasim Sacide Ener High School.

 

The first day of activity began early in the morning at school. As a guest greeting, the folk music and songs, played by the school children's choir, were presented.

Each partner school presented its school, city, education system. Teachers and students attended lessons where it was possible to familiarize with educational methodology, school-specific subjects, main school tasks, educational aspects.

A diverse cultural program was offered to the city center of Adana, where everyone could admire the wonderful city, its culture, architecture and traditions.

On the second day of the activity, all the students presented their homework “Day in My Life” and participated in a creative workshop dedicated to the exchange of pupils' experiences, the development of foreign language communication skills.

During the mobility, the project aspects and further planning of the activities was discussed.

On the third day of the activity, everyone participated in the creative workshop "Marbling of Turkish Paper". Students got to know and tried the old paper-molding technique. Each student, by choosing their own color combination and intensity, formed an article on the surface of the water from which it was transferred to paper.

The ancient city of Tarsos was visited, offering historical and beautiful sights, interesting scientific insights into religion, culture and traditions.

On the fourth day, all teachers and students had the opportunity to take part in an excursion to the most amazing region of Turkey - Cappadocia.

On the last day of the mobility, teachers and students worked with a master class "Traditional Turkish Wood Spoons Painting". Everyone was involved in intercultural dialogue, creating practical things. The master class offered traditional Turkish characters and their meaning, ornament, composition and color. Pupils made ornamental drawings on wooden spoons with color.

During the mobility, the students lived in families. It gave them the opportunity to find new friends, to learn about cultural diversity, to improve their communication and socialization skills required for social integration and further development as a full-fledged personality.

All project participants have gained invaluable experience in both theoretical and practical knowledge.
